Here we have an early 2000’s Fender Japan Telecaster.

The blue color is somewhere between ice blue metallic and lake placid blue, not too light and not too dark.

From the serial number and neck pocket/heel stamps and info from the original owner, we have determined that this guitar is indeed a TL71, even though these were not available in blue (according to the catalog). We suspect that this was a small limited run that was not listed on the catalogs at the time, or this particular guitar was a special order.

Either way, a rare beauty!

【Specs and condition】

Other than some very, very minor dings/scratches this guitar is very clean considering its age. With very little wear, it plays like a dream and sounds just as good!
