Here we have a very rare 2004 Fender Japan ST80-SLP in “White Purple Passion”, which is a very misleading name as it is very much a Translucent Blonde Burst.

These Strats are very much the Fender Japan version of the Mary Kay Strat, with the ash body in trans finish and gold hardware, single ply pickguard, etc.

These were of very limited production and we were very lucky to come across one.

【Specs and condition】

In very clean condition considering its age, except for some corrosion on the hardware. 

Some very minor dinging in the finish in a few locations, but nothing noteworthy.

Comes as photographed, however, we can add a brand new gig bag for an extra $40, a brand new soft shell hard case for $80 or a brand new hard case for $100.

If you’d like the guitar without a case or with a gig bag, we will double-box the guitar for extra safety.

【Personal Impressions】

A BEAUTY, to put it mildly.

The semi-gloss finish is incredibly comfortable to the touch and gives the guitar a vintage-like, tasteful look. The wood grain is simply lovely and the Texas Specials give it that creamy bluesy tone that we all love.

The soft V neck profile is meaty and fills the hand very nicely.

We think this is as close as “vintage” as you can get in this price range.
